WISECURE W801

Our building entry seal W801 is intended as a seal at embedments in concrete walls and floors. The unique profile design of the rings, in combination with the associated hose clamps, produces an effective seal between the pipe and the concrete, while also permitting axial movement, high pressure and protects against radon and leakage.

For those who need better rust protection than traditional hot-dip galvanized material, Aluzink can be a good alternative. By using an alloy of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon, you get both a thinner and better rust protection.

Aluzinc is probably the only type of sheet metal that has an attractive appearance. Initially, the plate has a glossy surface that over time is patinated and thus protects the plate while giving a beautiful gray shade with subdued luster.

The seal can be used with all sorts of piping, such as plastic, steel, concrete, cast iron etc. and allows for generous axial movement on piping with a smooth surface. The special profile of the rubber ring creates an effective seal between the pipe and the concrete. A cavity in the larger ring is filled with grease to obtain easy axial movement and ensure that the grease prevents water seeping through any possible scratches on the piping. Pressure from the clamping ring causes the seal to expand while at the same time the pressure against the surrounding concrete increases and the grease is forced out through the sealing groove.
